Navasota Sering is a singer-songwriter, poet, and visual artist. I explore how words, sounds, images, and people intersect drawing from classical techniques, experimental practice, and contemporary approaches. Through this convergence, I seek to illuminate the intimate topographies and generational histories within the constructs and ruptures of “home.”

I am a storyteller; each composition, word, and visual piece is an act of archiving what has been silenced, hidden, or ignored, reframing private experience into an intimate exchange. I approach my practice with integrity, authenticity, and a deep commitment to social justice. My work aims to seek truth regardless of the circumstances.

I hope to offer points of recognition for anyone navigating their own histories, and expand what multidisciplinary art can do. Connection and community are greater than silence.

A heartfelt thank you to Melissa Matuzak, I hope you have found peace. Also to Tara Noonan, for listening and supporting, as always.
